At First Step, we feel we have a duty to care for our patients, especially during emergencies, and understand concerns resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are many challenges that exist for us to be able to continue our activities, but these obstacles should not prevent us from meeting our clients/patients needs. We have critical roles in maintaining the integrity of healthcare in our community and it is very important that with the threat of limited resources and lack of ability to have in person visits, our patients will continue to receive appropriate services.

We will do this through traditional as well as non-traditional methods in order to be sure appropriate treatment is prescribed, testing is ordered as necessary and other conditions that are chronic do not become acute. This is to help maintain our patients trust in us and our medical community.

We are very happy to introduce the ability to have counseling and meetings as well as medical provider visits via telemedicine.
